Do I need to bring anything during the crafts sessions?
Not really unless you're signing up for our Tie Dye class where you need to bring 2-3 shirts of your size. If you're keen on joining our Mosaic Mirror, all materials will be provided.

What is covered by the fee?
The fee covers all the materials you will be needing during the crafts sessions.

For the coming month of August, we're officially kicking off Art Smart 101, an art program made exclusively for homeschoolers and our series of crafts where you can learn how to tie-dye shirts and do mosaics.

Hello homeschooling parents! This August, we're introducing Art Smart 101!

What is Art Smart 101?
Art Smart 101 is an art program designed specifically for homeschooling students. It covers a series of lectures, interaction and application of art techniques done in a classroom setting.

What will students learn?
​Students will learn the basic elements and principles of art and art history. Different media and techniques based on the subject for the day will also be introduced. 

Further, activities and handouts will be given to students to take home to further enhance their drawing and painting techniques.

Who will facilitate Art Smart 101?
Classes will be facilitated by Art Smart teachers using a method developed by Teacher Aubrey Decloedt, a cum laude graduate of the UP Fine Arts with a major in Panting and Art History. Teacher Aubrey has 20+ years of teaching experience.

What is the schedule of Art Smart 101?
​Shaw studio: Thursday
Grades 2-4  9-10:30
Grades 5-7  10:30-12

Marikina studio : Friday
Grades 2-4  9-10:30
Grades 5-7  10:30-12

Classes are held once a week for 1.5 hours. The program consists of 12 classes.

How much is the fee for Art Smart 101?
A fee of PHP 8,500 will cover 12 sessions. Fee also covers all art materials and takehome activities and handouts.

Can we join if we are a group of homeschooling students?
​If you are a group of homeschooling students and prefer a different schedule, let us know. We’ll accommodate as long as there are available slots. 

​Parents these days choose to teach their own kids, setting up a learning environment in their home instead of enrolling them in a public or private school. Homeschooling definitely has its benefits and we're here to list the five critical ones for you. ​When done exceptionally right and with the correct reinforcements (for the parents) and drive and inspiration (from the kids), homeschooling can produce well-rounded and smart children!
