Homeschooling is a form of exclusive, one-on-one tutoring

​Studies show that schools have significantly low teacher to student ratios. Imagine enrolling your child in a class of 45 students with only one teacher. In a homeschooling set-up, learners will have the full attention, guidance and instruction of their parent or instructor. This feature is particularly helpful in ensuring students are able to master a basic concept or skill first before moving to the more advanced ones.

Homeschooled kids tend to think more on their own

​While you may argue that a homeschooling life is lonely - no classmates to be around with or no opportunities to form friendships - this kind of learning setup is actually crucial in training kids to think independently. This August, Art Smart is offering Art Smart 101, an art program exclusively developed for homeschoolers. In this program, homeschooling students will be taught the basic elements and principles of art and art history as well as different media and techniques based on the subject for the day. Students will be immersed in a series of lectures, interaction and application of art techniques done in a classroom setting. 

To all homeschooling parents, why not add an art program to your curriculum? It's a great way also for kids to meet other homeschooling children like them and have a feel of what it is like to be in a classroom setting!

How to join Art Smart 101

​We're officially opening this program this August and we're accepting students as early as July.

Grades 5-7  10:30-12

Classes are held once a week for 1.5 hours. The program consists of 12 classes. A fee of P8,500 covers all art materials and takehome activities and handouts.
