Popsicle Christmas Ornaments

Oh the many beautiful things you can do with popsicle sticks! Channel your creativity with just a few pieces of colored popsicle sticks, your trusty old glue gun, accessories and your imagination and start making these fun Christmas designs you can hang on your tree, by your window sill or any corner in your home you want to make festive this season! This is a great way to recycle old popsicle sticks, yarns and other stuff you're thinking of throwing! Reindeers, snowflakes, stars, Christmas trees, angels -- there's absolutely no limit to the Christmas designs you can create!

Colorful pine cones

Pinecones are probably the most iconic Christmas decorations of all time! Don’t get stuck with the usual brown pine cones and go ahead and make them colorful! Get your kids to choose the colors they want to use and enjoy a crafty afternoon giving your pinecones a major facelift! Besides coloring them in different colors, use your imagination and make mini pinecone Christmas trees great as table centerpieces and pinecone elves — complete with scarves and mittens!

Colorful paper snowflakes

We may not have snow here in the Philippines, but that doesn't mean we can't add snowflakes as part of your Christmas decorations this year! And did you know that it's so easy making amazing snowflakes in different patterns using colored papers? You can create a variety of designs in under 5 minutes too. Watch this video now! Just make sure you have the essential materials in your hands -- a bunch of papers and a trusted pair of scissors!

Tissue Roll Santa Claus

If you're thinking of something more to add to your Christmas tree decorations, making Santa Claus out of tissue roll corks might be a great. All you need will be tissue rolls corks, some red papers, glue, tape, and eyes! Make sure to have a pile of cotton balls too for Santa Claus's fluffy beard! This is a great way also to teach your kids how to recycle and make something spectacular out of it!

DIY Christmas Gift Sacks

Instead of resorting to plastic bags for storing gifts, why not create your very own Christmas sack using nature-approved materials like flour sack cloth? It's so easy to source katsa these days, and you can buy in yards depending on the amount you need. Not only is this a great way to store gifts this season, it's also a great Christmas gift idea you can give away. Make sure to help your kids with the needle and thread!

Personalized Christmas gift tags

Nothing's more heartfelt and special than personalized gift tags to go with your presents for your loved ones. While there is nothing wrong using the ones you can easily buy from the bookstore, why not create your own? Especially if you are experienced in calligraphy, you can create uniquely beautiful cards your loved ones will love to see and receive from you. Check out the many designs you can make below:

DIY Christmas wrappers

Aside from gift tags, did you know you can also create your own Christmas wrappers? There are SO MANY ways you can do this from using pages of an old magazine and a map (perfect for travel-loving people!) to using stamps, laces, twine, and strings! Mashable shared a gallery of really unique and creative gift wrappers you can create during your weekend craft session! We're sharing a few of them below. Get your kids to suggest designs too!

Painted Christmas greeting cards

Especially if you have relatives abroad whom you won't be able to spend Christmas with physically, sending them handmade Christmas cards is an absolute treat! Using quality paper and a great set of acrylic or watercolors, let your kids paint on your Christmas greeting cards this year and bond over the message you'll be writing on the card before mailing it to your lucky recipients.
