Artworks are NOT PERFECT the first time?!? NO PROBLEM! DON'T LIKE FIXED SCHEDULES, too, this is for YOU!!! SO HOW DO WE DO IT? Lessons are given through online messenger in the morning and students can do it ANYTIME as long as they pass the minimum works assigned to them per week. Consultation hours are Mondays to Fridays 2-4 PM or as long as the teacher is online. We give comments so students can REVISE to improve their works and make it close to perfect. Art Smart has been in the business of teaching art to children and adults since 2009. Due to the pandemic, our founder , Aubrey Rose Bea-Decloedt , a UP Fine Arts graduate and an art educator since 1999, has decided to shift to online art classes during the early part of this coronavirus pandemic. Being an educator, Teacher Aubrey has developed a system which is output and learning-based. Our online art classes takes your child away from their gadgets and the classes will definitely keep them busy. Students get encouraged to do better as they see their works improving over time as they become aware of areas of improvement as our well-trained teachers check the works, note corrections, and ask some parts to be revised . Enrolling in our class ensures learning and improvement in art skills. For adults, our art classes become a diversion from stress at work and the monotony of daily house chores and routines . Our method has surprised even our adult enrollees. We will feature some of their works in the next blogs. Is it a live online class? This is the usual question of those inquiring. After further study and evaluation, our founder developed this online method that, in the last four months, has been proven to work. Using messenger as a medium , the teacher sends lessons with step-by-step instruction which serves as a demonstration on how to go about the artwork. The student passes his/her work which is subject to correction and revision. The teacher then corrects the works for revision and sends another photo of the the edited artwork. It is a continuous exchange of photos, edited photos and one-on-one chat consultation until the teacher is satisfied with the artwork.During these revisions is where learning happens. The student then sees how to correct proportions, placements, and proper shading. It may take more than one revision , but this allows the student's eye for detail to be developed. One of the benefits of using messenger group chat is that it also allows the student and teacher to keep track of the student's progress by having a record of the artworks through photos. Students then can compare day 1 work to day 8 and see their improvements. The best part of our online art class is that you can do it anytime. that is why we cater to both young and old.
